LIU Jianjun is Doctor of Science and Doctoral Supervisor. His contributions in the field of lunar and planetary exploration research have been recognized by many awards, including the Special Prize for National Scientific and Technological Progress and the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His achievements were selected as one of the Top Ten Scientific Advances in China in 2019 and the Top Ten News Stories of Scientific and Technological Progress in China in 2023.
