Research Fields
My research interests are predominantly in the field of galaxy formation and cosmology. These researches include using gravitational lensing to probe the galaxy formation process, the structure of haloes, subhaloes and large scale structures, and the nature of dark matter; using SDSS-MaNGA IFU observations to study the kinematics of nearby galaxies; and designing new methods to constrain cosmology models. I am also working in the international science development team of TMT telescope.
Achievements

2009 Constructed a galaxy-galaxy lensing model using galaxy group catalog of SDSS.
2013 Made the first galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements of subhaloes of satellite galaxies in groups.
2015 Made one of the first cosmological constraints using weak lensing peak statistics with CFHT-Stripe82 survey
2016 Using galaxy-galaxy lensing, we show that  subhalo-to-stellar mass ratio of satellite galaxies increases towards the outer part of the cluster.
2016 We proposed a method to constrain the identity of dark matter using strong lensing.

I wrote a popular science book “Roaming the universe” ( in Chinese ).
