In past years, members of the research group always stayed at cutting-edge of the area to explore varies of new technologies on space objects surveillance. Tight connections with domestic and overseas scientists have been established. Parallelized space objects early-warning system and visualized space situation awareness system were developed and utilized under the hard work of all participated people. Piles of orbital data of space objects and debris and research materials have been accumulated for engineering application.
The research group accomplished the Asia-Pacific ground-based Optical Space object Observation System (APOSOS) project Phase I and host the Data and Operation Management Center. Three 150mm telescopes were installed worldwide and routinely observe the space objects.
We are looking forward to the bright future of world-wide collaborating space surveillance system.
