The dynamics and structure of the Milky Way halo, such as the rotation curve of the Milky Way, the total mass and mass profile of the Milky Way, the stellar density profile and substructure in the Galactic stellar halo, etc…
We made the first-ever precise measurements on the Galactic rotation curve to 60 kpc and the mass of the Milky Way using the kinematics of halo stars drawn from SDSS survey.
Using SEGUE K giants, we first made a good measurement on the stellar density profile up to 80 kpc.
