Astronomers use radio telescopes to survey large clouds of hydrogen gas in space. These clouds of hydrogen gas can give astronomers a better understanding of how stars form and evolve, as well as provide insights into the structure of galaxies. This article presents results of a survey from the Urumqi radio telescope studying clouds of hydrogen and other kinds of gases in space.
