The Sun experiences a regular cycle of activity. The numbers of sunspots and solar flares increase and decrease according to this approximately 12-year cycle. This article describes a study using a new method to predict the amount of activity expected in the peak of the next cycle. The method used in this study is called a neural network, which is based on artificial intelligence.
