A time series of filament eruptions observed by three eyes from space: from failed to successful eruptions TEXT SIZE: A A A
The Sun's surface is dynamic and ever-changing. Violent explosions erupt from the Sun's surface and shoot hot material away into space. This article describes a series of eruptions on the Sun's surface that could be observed with various satellites and on Earth's surface, allowing the eruptions to be seen from different perspectives, thus giving astronomers the opportunity to better understand processes associated with activity on the Sun.
