Our Universe exhibits some behavior that is difficult for researchers to model, which is the observed fact that the Universe is expanding and accelerating its rate of expansion at large distances. One approach to try and model this phenomenon is to study the mathematics describing the expansion dynamics of the Universe. This article offers some new mathematical expressions to try to better understand this complex behavior.
