Testing the distance-duality relation with a combination of cosmological distance observations TEXT SIZE: A A A
Measuring distance in astronomy is a challenging problem because the distances involved are so large. These authors use large explosions called supernovae to test how far away galaxies are compared to how they appear. The results of this research will help astronomers better calibrate their distance measurements.
