The frequencies of high frequency quasi-periodic oscillations in two different frames in black hole LMXBs TEXT SIZE: A A A
Black holes can orbit stars, forming a binary system where gas from the star can escape and flow into the black hole, releasing great amounts of energy. This article studies the complex dynamics of this kind of binary system by incorporating effects from magnetic fields and general relativity. The results of this study can help astronomers better understand how these kinds of systems generate and radiate energy.
