Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs) are black holes in the centers of galaxies that can show eruptive outbursts when surrounding gas swirls into the black hole. This article uses data from a variety of different types of AGNs, studying the properties of how material is ejected from the eruption, thus giving astronomers more insight into their complex behavior.
