The nature of orbits in a prolate elliptical galaxy model with a bulge and a dense nucleus TEXT SIZE: A A A
The motions of stars in a galaxy can be complex and difficult to model, especially near the galaxy's nucleus. This article studies stellar motions near the nucleus of elliptical galaxies and finds that there is a relationship between the motions of stars and their physical parameters, helping astronomers better understand these complex kinematic properties.
