2MASS photometry and age estimation of the globular clusters in the outer halo of M31 TEXT SIZE: A A A
Globular clusters are collections of stars that orbit a galaxy's nucleus. This article studies the properties of some globular clusters which are orbiting galaxy M31, including these clusters' ages and masses. The results of this study can help astronomers better understand how globular clusters form and evolve, as well as give clues about their relationship with their parent galaxy.
