The PPMXL is a database containing the data about the positions and motions of many stars. This article describes a study using these data to study an open star cluster, Ruprecht 15, which is a collection of stars loosely bound together by gravity and which move together as a group. The results of this study will help astronomers better understand the properties of this open star cluster.
