Polynomial regression calculation of the Earth’s position based on millisecond pulsar timing TEXT SIZE: A A A
Pulsars are compact stellar remnants that spin and emit radiation. Because they spin and emit radiation at regular intervals, their signals can be used as highly-precise clocks. This article proposes a method to measure the position of Earth in its orbit around the Sun by tracking the signals from pulsars, giving astronomers more insights into this topic of study.
