Galaxies are large collections of stars which orbit around the centers of galaxies. The orbits of these stars can be complex and difficult to model. This article studies the dynamical motions of many stars in an elliptical galaxy and finds regions of relatively simply versus complex behavior. The results of this study can help astronomers better understand the complex dynamics of stars in a galaxy.
