A multiwavelength study of the star forming H II region Sh2-82 TEXT SIZE: A A A
Our Galaxy has large clouds of molecules, and groups of stars that form from these clouds. By analyzing the motions and properties of these clouds, astronomers can better understand how material that forms stars collects and collapses. This article studies such a star forming region by examining radiation it emits. The results of this study can help astronomers better understand the complex process of star formation.
