Gravitational lensing occurs when a large mass is between a source of radiation and the observer. The large mass bends the light so that the distant source can be observed more easily. This article describes a project that studies a gravitational lens formed from a group of massive galaxies. The results of this study help astronomers better understand the properties of gravitational lensing and their associated sources.
