Star formation associated with the infrared dust bubble N68 TEXT SIZE: A A A
Material in molecular clouds collapses inward to form stars. This article describes observations of one such molecular cloud and an associated region where stars are believed to be forming. By studying the motions of material in this cloud, astronomers can identify regions where star formation is occurring. The results of this study help astronomers better understand the properties of this molecular cloud.
