Far-Infrared and submillimeter properties of SDSS galaxies in the Herschel ATLAS science demonstration phase field TEXT SIZE: A A A
By making observations in infrared, the Herschel telescope enables new studies of celestial objects. This article describes infrared observations of galaxies using the Herschel telescope, and summarizes the differences that these galaxies show in the infrared compared to visible-light observations. The results of this article can help astronomers better understand properties of galaxies in  infrared.
