The surface of the Sun is dynamic and ever changing, where explosions and large ejections of mass can occur. This article studies statistical relationships between various types of activity that can occur on the Sun's surface, like solar flares and coronal mass ejections. The results of this study can help astronomers better understand these dynamic processes.
