Molecular outflows and gas rotation associated with G20.08–0.14N TEXT SIZE: A A A

Clusters of stars can form when large clouds of interstellar gas collapse and coalesce. By tracking the motions of gas in these large interstellar clouds, astronomers can observe this phenomenon in progress. This article studies one such case of a collapsing molecular cloud, giving astronomers more insight into this process.
