Processes on the Sun emit radiation in many wavelengths, including radio. Radio observations of the Sun can reveal how magnetic fields on the surface change and evolve. This article describes observations made by the Solar Broadband Radio Spectrometer at the Huairou Solar Observing Station, showing how this observing facility contributes to advances in this field.
