The influences of convective overshooting and semiconvection on the chemical evolution of massive stars TEXT SIZE: A A A

Stars generate energy in their cores and this energy needs to be transported to the surface of the star. There are different ways that the star can transport the energy that is generated in its core to the surface, including radiation and convection. This article examines processes associated with this transport of energy in stars in more detail, helping astronomers better understand these complex mechanisms.
