Probing the dark side of the Universe with weak gravitational lensing effects TEXT SIZE: A A A

Gravitational lensing occurs when a large mass distorts the spacetime around it and light rays bend around the object. This article gives a review of how weak gravitational lenses are formed and what properties can be derived from observing them.
