Analysis of the geomorphology surrounding the Chang’e-3 landing site TEXT SIZE: A A A

The Chang'e 3 mission was a probe that soft-landed on the Moon in 2013 and conducted a year-long mission conducting scientific exploration activities. One aspect of the Chang'e 3 mission was to survey the area surrounding the landing site around north Mare Imbrium. This article summarizes results of geomorphology studies from the Chang'e 3 mission, helping specialists in this field gain a better understanding of the Moon's surface.
