TeV cosmic-ray proton and helium spectra in the myriad model II TEXT SIZE: A A A

The conventional theory of cosmic rays says that cosmic rays originate from supernovae and other high-energy phenomena. However, observations of the energies associated with cosmic ray do not necessarily agree with this theory. This article proposes a more sophisticated model of cosmic rays that incorporates the magnetic field of the Milky Way to try to better explain observed energies of cosmic rays, helping to advance this field.
