Variations of the harmonic components of the X-ray pulse profile of PSR B1509–58 TEXT SIZE: A A A

Pulsars are compact remnants of massive stars that rotate and emit beams of radiation. Their beams of radiation are received as regular pulses by observers. This article studies properties of a particular pulsar by examining components of its signal in detail. The results of this article can help astronomers better understand this particular pulsar, giving astronomers more insight into these objects.
