Gamma-ray Bursts are observed as rapid flashes of high-energy radiation that are recorded by satellites. Astronomers have developed theories about the processes that cause gamma-ray bursts. This article explores the possibility that gamma-ray bursts arise when blobs of matter that have been ejected from the jet of a black hole collide and release large amounts of energy. The results from this article can help specialists in this field try to better understand their observations.
