Model simulation for periodic double-peaked outbursts in blazar OJ 287: binary black hole plus lighthouse effect TEXT SIZE: A A A

The dynamics associated with a binary black hole are complicated. This article offers an explanation for the behavior of blazar OJ 287. It proposes a model incorporating the dynamics involved with a binary black hole, plus interactions with the magnetic field. The model proposed in this article can help in interpreting observations of blazar OJ 287.
