Being able to rapidly change instruments during astronomical observations is an advantage for astronomers because quasi-simultaneous measurements can be performed with different instruments on the same target to better utilize limited observing time. This article describes a new connector attached to the Lijiang 2.4-meter telescope that allows instruments to be rapidly changed, for example, a photometer can be quickly exchanged with a feed leading to a spectrometer. Implementing this new connector will increase the efficiency of this facility.
