Panoramic camera on the Yutu lunar rover of the Chang’e-3 mission TEXT SIZE: A A A

The Chang'e-3 mission was China's first mission that soft landed a probe on the surface of the Moon. The Chang'e-3 mission consisted of a lander and a rover named Yutu. One of the instruments onboard Yutu was a panoramic camera that could take wide-angle images of the lunar surface. This article describes the design and operation of the panoramic camera on this rover.
