Solar flares with similar soft but different hard X-ray emissions: case and statistical studies TEXT SIZE: A A A

The Sun can show large explosions and violent activity that can release large amounts of radiation. This article studies the types of X-ray emissions that are produced in such violent activity, helping astronomers better understand the mechanisms by which the Sun produces X-rays.
