OO Aquilae: a solar-type contact binary with intrinsic light curve changes TEXT SIZE: A A A

By studying how the brightness of a system of stars that forms an eclipsing binary changes over time, astronomers can infer properties about the system. This article describes a study of one such system which shows anomalies compared to other eclipsing binary stars. The results of this study can help researchers better understand the properties and behavior of this system.
