Because of the large number of mutual interactions, calculations that model the evolution of dynamical systems require powerful computing facilities. This article evaluates the performance of different computer codes that model gravitational interactions of a large number of particles. These codes incorporate the advanced abilities of graphics processing units (GPUs) to speed up the calculations. The results of this study can help specialists in this field efficiently perform calculations using their models.
