Mirror seeing arises from turbulence inside a telescope and has a strong influence on how high the resolution of a telescope can be. This article considers the effects of mirror seeing in current telescopes, and applies these results to the design of the Chinese Future Giant Telescope. The results of this article can help planners mitigate issues with mirror seeing when designing the Chinese Future Giant Telescope.
