Deputy Director of NAOC

JIANG Peng, member of the Communist Party of China and Delegate to the 14th National People’s Congress, is Doctor of Engineering and Doctoral Supervisor. He is Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the FAST Operations and Development Center. His contributions to radio astronomy techniques and methods have been recognized with numerous awards, including the National Distinguished Young Researcher Award, Beijing Science and Technology Award First Prize, China Youth Science and Technology Award, May Day Labor Medal of Central and State Organs, the first “National Excellent Engineer Team”, and Tencent’s “Science Exploration Award”.
