A photometric study of the K-type contact binary EI CVn TEXT SIZE: A A A
Some binary stars are so close to each other that their surfaces touch, a situation called a contact binary. This article describes research about a binary star whose members are in contact, and the researcher believes that mass is being transferred from one star to the other. From the results of this study, the researcher predicts that this will cause the two stars to become even closer over time.
