Hong Wu graduated from Nanjing University for his Bachelor degree in astrophysics in 1991, and graduated from Beijing Observatory for PhD in astrophysics in 1996. Now he is the Chief Scientist of the Infrared Astrophysics Group in NAOC. His research interests include studying star formation of galaxies with infrared data, observations, low surface brightness galaxies, and sciences related to the spectroscopic data from LAMOST.
Wei ZHANG got his PhD degree from University of Science and Technology of China in 2007. Now he is an associate professor at the Infared Astrophysics Group in NAOC. His research includes the HI gas fractions in local and high redshift galaxies, stellar parameters estimation, Galactic low-surface-brightness nebulae, and so on. Now, he is focusing on the HII regions and massive stars in the Milky Way.
Wei Du graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University for her Bachelor degree in 2006, and graduated from the Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for her PhD degree in 2012. Now she is an associate professor at the Infared Astrophysics Group in NAOC. Her research interests mainly includes low surface brightness galaxies, galaxy formation and evolution, and multi-wavelength band observations.
Dr. Chaojian Wu received a B.S. in 2007 from Liaoning Technical University, Fuxin, China, and a PhD in 2013 from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. He was a postdoc at NAOC from Jun. 2013 to Apr. 2016 and then became a research associate at the same institute. Now he is working on the LAMOST-MRS Nebulae Survey and Narrow Band Survey (NBS) , which are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as the PI. His research interests include Debris disks, infrared excess stars, evolution of planet system, HH objects, medium-resolution spectroscopy, narrow band survey, astronomical data processing.
