Research Group of New Technologies for Space Objects and Debris
This group is devoted to explore varieties of new technologies for space objects surveillance. Parallelized space object early-warning system and visualized space situation awareness system were developed and utilized. Recently, we focused on the Asia-Pacific ground-based Optical Space object Observation System (APOSOS) project. An agreement on hosting service for accommodating the data center equipment and operation center of APOSOS project has been signed between NAOC and the Asia Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO). Asia-Pacific ground-based Optical Space Object Observation System Data and Operation Management Center has been established in NAOC.
