Determining proportions of lunar crater populations by fitting crater size distribution
Craters on the Moon preserve information about the history of the lunar surface. This article describes a study that analyzes the distribution of sizes of craters on the Moon, which gives researchers insight into the sizes of bodies that struck the Moon and formed the craters in the past, thus advancing this field.
