Hongyan Wang, Secretary of the Party Committee & Deputy Director
Biography
Male, born in 1970, a bachelor's degree holder, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1993, he obtained a bachelor's degree from the Department of Physics at the Minzu Univeristy of China. In the same year, he was assigned to the Beijing Scientific Instrument Development Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for technical work. He was transferred to the Personnel Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995 (later the Personnel Education Bureau). In January 2004, he became the director of the Office of the Personnel Education Bureau, and in March, he was the director of the Secretariat of the General Office. In 2005, he served as deputy director of the Party Leadership Office. In 2009, he served as deputy director of the General Office as well as the deputy director of the Party Leadership Office. In 2011, he served as deputy secretary of the Party committee (presiding over the work) and deputy director of the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2012, he served as secretary of the Party committee and deputy director of the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Membership in Academies & Societies
Wang is responsible for Party building, personnel, retirement, postgraduates' ideological and political work, fundamental construction and renovation projects, and other work assigned by the institute conference. He assists in the management of operational State-owned assets. He is the direct person in charge of anti-corruption and is also in charge of the Party Committee Office and Personnel Office.
